My client, a film producer, recently presented me with an exciting challenge. He had a few low-resolution JPG poster files that were very small and low quality. He needed to preserve the look of the posters but required that they be rebuilt from scratch in Photoshop to create a print-ready, high-resolution file with each component on an individual layer and editable text. While I was allowed some creative liberties as needed to recreate the file, the directive was to keep the design as close as possible to the original. The client did not have access to any of the original assets, including images or fonts. The project required extensive Photoshop editing, new font and image sourcing, and rebuilding and recreating existing graphics.
